Parker Posey to star in Woody Allen's next film

The cast of the as-yet-untitled film also includes Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone.

NEW YORK, July 24 (UPI) -- Writer-director Woody Allen announced Thursday he has cast Parker Posey and Jamie Blackley in the as-yet-untitled film he is now shooting in Rhode Island with Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone.

No other details regarding the movie -- including its plot, genre and setting -- were immediately disclosed.

Posey's film credits include For Your Consideration, Best in Show and You've Got Mail. Blackley is best known for his performance in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Allen's 1920s-set comedy Magic in the Moonlight, starring Colin Firth and Emma Stone, opens in limited release Friday.
