Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson to star in 'By Way of Helena'

The actors co-star in the "Hunger Games" series, but have not shared screen time.

LOS ANGELES, July 3 (UPI) -- Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson have joined the cast of By Way of Helena.

The Hunger Games co-stars face off in the new revenge western by Australian director Kieran Darcy-Smith (Animal Kingdom). The movie is set in an isolated frontier town in the late 1800s, and stars Hemsworth as a Texas Ranger named David. The character struggles to solve a series of mysterious murders while also contending with Abraham (Harrelson), a tyrannical local preacher.

Production on By Way of Helena will begin this fall, and both actors appear in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One, out November 21. Hemsworth is scheduled to star in The Dressmaker next year, while Harrelson is slated for Triple Nine and Now You See Me 2.
