Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden enjoy coffee date in New York City

Nicole Richie reportedly set the couple up.

NEW YORK, June 4 (UPI) -- Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden appear to be an official couple.

The 41-year-old actress and 35-year-old Good Charlotte musician were spotted in New York City earlier this week. The pair grabbed coffee before taking a stroll, and held hands and smiled as they walked in the West Village.

A source reported in May that the two spend "a lot of time at Cameron's house."

"Cameron seems very happy with Benji," the insider revealed. "He is the nicest guy and treats her like a lady."

Nicole Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel, is said to have set the couple up.
