John Travolta sports odd facial hair in France

CAP D'ANTIBES, France, May 23 (UPI) -- John Travolta's tiny beard has returned.

The 60-year-old actor, his odd facial hair and wife Kelly Preston attended the 2014 amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala on Thursday. The benefit raises funds for AIDS research, and takes place each year during the Cannes Film Festival.

The star donned black pants and a navy jacket with black lapel for the event. He sported a small patch of hair on the end of his chin, and left the rest of his face clean shaven. Preston looked stunning in a red lace gown, and accessorized with a diamond chandelier necklace.

Travolta previously wore the tiny beard to the Silver Springs Film Festival in March.
