Emma Stone to star in Woody Allen's next film

Stone and Allen previously worked together on the upcoming film, "Magic in the Moonlight."

NEW YORK, May 7 (UPI) -- Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix have signed on to star in writer-director Woody Allen's next, as-yet-untitled film.

Details about the plot and setting of the movie are shrouded in secrecy, but the project is expected to start shooting this summer.

Allen and Stone previously collaborated on the upcoming, Magic in the Moonlight.
