LOS ANGELES, April 30 (UPI) -- Sandra Bullock may portray Tupperware icon Brownie Wise in an upcoming movie.

The Help director Tate Taylor is attached to direct the currently untitled film. Taylor has also written the script, and based the plot on non-fiction book Tupperware Unsealed by Bob Kealing.

Earl Silas Tupper founded the Tupperware Plastics Company in 1938, and debuted the airtight plastic containers in 1946. He teamed up with former Stanley Home Products sales representative Brownie Wise soon after, and the product took off in the 1950s under her guidance.

Wise pioneered party plan marketing -- the presentation and sale of products at social events. The method was extremely successful, and the saleswoman herself was elevated to great fame. Her relationship with Tupper declined as her celebrity grew, and the founder forced Wise out of the company in 1958.

Bullock expressed enthusiasm for the project in a meeting with Taylor, but has not officially signed on. The role would be the actresss first since her 2013 success Gravity.
