The Post said Dench has not been promoting her Irish family drama internationally due to eyesight issues and memory problems, however, she is expected to attend the March 2 Hollywood ceremony celebrating the best in cinema for 2013.

Dench won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1999 for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth in "Shakespeare in Love." Her biggest competition this Oscar season is Cate Blanchett, the star of "Blue Jasmine." Blanchett also played Queen Elizabeth in "Elizabeth" and "Elizabeth: The Golden Age."
