Paul Walker replaced by Rupert Friend in 'Hitman' sequel

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- British actor Rupert Friend is to replace the late Paul Walker in "Agent 47," director Aleksander Bach's sequel to "Hitman," Variety reported.

Skip Woods and Michael Finch penned the screenplay for the video-game adaptation, but the plot details have not been disclosed, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

Walker, 40, died as a passenger in a fiery car crash Nov. 30.
