LONDON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- British actress Emma Watson has split from her long-term boyfriend, William Adamowicz, because of her busy work schedule, her publicist says.

"Emma and Will separated last summer and are no longer in touch," Watson's publicist told the Mirror Sunday.

The couple met as students at England's Oxford University in 2011 and they were last seen together in public in November, the newspaper said.

Watson, 23, is famous for playing wizard Hermione in the Harry Potter film franchise.
