NEW YORK, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Joel and Ethan Coen's new film "Inside Llewyn Davis" won four awards from the National Society of Film Critics.
The National Society of Film Critics voted Saturday to decide winners of its 48th annual awards, the Los Angeles Times reported. There will be no ceremony, as scrolls are sent to all the winners.
"Inside Llewyn Davis" won four awards, including best film, actor for Oscar Isaac's portrayal of the title character, director for the siblings and cinematography for Bruno Delbonnel. The film follows a struggling folk singer in early 1960s Greenwich Village, New York City.
The critics named Cate Blanchett as best actress for Woody Allen's "Blue Jasmine." The best supporting actress award went to Jennifer Lawrence for her role in "American Hustle," and James Franco won the best supporting actor honor for his part in "Spring Breakers."
Screenplay honors went to Richard Linklater, Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke for "Before Midnight."
"Blue Is the Warmest Color" by Adele Exarchopoulous won the best foreign-language film award.
