'Monsters University' tops DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- The animated family flick "Monsters University" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the sales roster for the week ending Dec. 1 is "Turbo," followed by "Red 2" at No. 3, "Disney's Planes" at No. 4 and "Man of Steel" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "We're the Millers" at No. 6, "The Croods" at No. 7, "2 Guns" at No. 8,

"The Great Gatsby" at No. 9 and "Pacific Rim" at No. 10.

"The Heat" is the No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Nov. 30.

"The Internship" is No. 2, "White House Down" is No. 3, "Grown Ups 2" is No. 4, "Red 2" is No. 5, "Pacific Rim" is No. 6, "The Conjuring" is No. 7, "Disney's Planes" is No. 8, "Monsters University" is No. 9 and "The Hangover Part III" is No. 10.
