LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- "Thor: The Dark World," starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and others, hammered rivals for the No. 1 weekend spot with $86.109 million at the box office.
"Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa," with Johnny Knoxville, was a distant second with $11.3 million.

All studio estimates of weekend North American receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"Free Birds" was a close third with $11.18 million; "Last Vegas" a close fourth with $11.1 million; "Ender's Game" fifth with $10.25 million; "Gravity" sixth with $8.405 million; "12 Years a Slave" seventh with $6.6 million; "Captain Phillips" eighth with $5.8 million; "About Time" ninth $5.172 million.
"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" was 10th with $2.8 million.
