Lionsgate considering 'Hunger Games' theme park

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Lionsgate Chief Executive Officer Jon Feltheimer says the U.S. company is considering creating a theme park centered on its "Hunger Games" franchise.

Variety quoted Feltheimer as saying Friday Lionsgate had been approached about building "Hunger Games" theme parks in two territories, but he gave no further details other than to say the company is weighing its options.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," the second installment in the action-film franchise, is to open worldwide Nov. 22.
