LONDON, Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Open auditions are being planned for this week in the United Kingdom and Ireland for two lead roles in Lucasfilm's "Star Wars: Episode VII," the BBC reported.

The characters are described as a "street smart and strong" orphaned girl in her late teens and a "smart capable" man in his late teens or early 20s, the British broadcaster said.
