MALIBU, Calif., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Troubled actress Amanda Bynes is expected to leave in December the Malibu, Calif., rehab facility where she has been undergoing treatment, TMZ said.

The former star of "The Amanda Show" and "What I Like About You" has been at the facility since September. She transferred to the rehab after two months in the psychiatric ward of UCLA Medical Center.

Bynes, 27, was hospitalized following months of erratic behavior, substance abuse and brushes with the law.

TMZ said Bynes is now considered stabilized, thanks to a combination of medication and psychological counseling.

The actress is expected to move back home with her family, who will provide supervision, next month, the celebrity news website said.
