'Entourage' movie to begin shooting in January

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- The big-screen version of the Hollywood-set, HBO comedy series "Entourage" is to begin shooting soon, the show's creator and stars announced via Twitter.

"It's a go. love you all," director Doug Ellin tweeted Tuesday, confirming a film follow-up to the eight-season series had been green-lit.

"Break out the license cause we're full speed ahead," said actor Adrian Grenier.

"Now it's time to go to WORK! the #EntourageMovie is on and I look forward to getting into it my friends. Thanks for your patience," Jeremy Piven wrote.

Also part of the "Entourage" family are actors Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon.

Deadline.com said the movie is scheduled to start filming sometime in January.
