NEW YORK, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- U.S. actor and singer Justin Timberlake said in a New York radio interview he would love to play the iconic baddie the Riddler to Ben Affleck's Batman.

Timberlake made the comments on the "Jim & Kim Morning Show" Tuesday.

"I ain't playin' Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie," Timberlake said.

"Now, villain! I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler," he said. "The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I'm gonna play crazy, I wanna play proper crazy. ... I'm ready. The Riddler. Give me a call!"

The role of The Riddler was last played on the big screen by Jim Carrey in 1995's "Batman Forever."

Affleck was announced last week as the latest actor to play Batman in a movie. "Batman vs. Superman" is due in theaters in 2015. There has been no indication the Riddler will be part of the story.
