MONTREAL, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- Australian actor Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness have donated $10,000 to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation, the organization announced.

"She had tried to make the donation via her computer, but the confirmation she got said that she had given $10, so she called us up," Kim Fraser, who works for the foundation, told the Montreal Gazette about her surprise call from Furness Tuesday. "She wanted to make the donation on behalf of her, her husband, and the cast and crew of 'X-Men.'"
