Jodie Foster called to scene of Jamie Lee Curtis crash

VENICE, Calif., Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Jodie Foster rushed to the scene of a Venice, Calif., car crash in which her friend Jamie Lee Curtis suffered minor injuries, TMZ reported.

Curtis, 54, called fellow actress Foster, 50, and she arrived before Curtis was taken by ambulance to a hospital Thursday morning. Curtis was treated for her wounds and was recovering at home, the celebrity news website said.

Curtis was a passenger in a black Yukon SUV when it crashed into a BMW in a highly trafficked area. An unidentified person involved in the crash suffered more serious injuries than Curtis and was also transported to a hospital, TMZ said.

The person's condition was not immediately known.

TMZ did not say whether any arrests were made or police citations issued.
