SUMMERSIDE, Prince Edward Island, July 7 (UPI) -- Actress Elisha Cuthbert and Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf married in Prince Edward Island, Canada, the Journal Pioneer of Summerside reported.
A small crowd of fans gathered along the highway near St. James Catholic Church in Summerfield where the two tied the knot Saturday, the newspaper reported.

Just before she walked into the church, Cuthbert turned and waved to the crowd as they cheered.
Phaneuf has family ties in Prince Edward Island and owns a summer home in New London. The two have spent their summers there since they started dating, the Journal Pioneer reported.
