LOS ANGELES, June 25 (UPI) -- Liam Neeson is close to signing a $20 million deal to play ex-CIA agent Bryan Mills in a third "Taken" movie, Hollywood's Deadline.com reported.
The first two thrillers in the franchise were huge hits when they were released in 2008 and 2012.
Deadline.com said production company EuropaCorp is planning to start shooting the second sequel in February.
Producer Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen are penning the script for the third installment, but no director has been mentioned yet and it is unclear if previous cast members Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen will return for the latest adventure.
