Benicio Del Toro to star in 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Benicio Del Toro has joined director James Gunn's upcoming Marvel Studios movie "Guardians of the Galaxy," Deadline reported Monday.

No details about the role were immediately disclosed.

The film's high-profile cast includes Glenn Close, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker and John C. Reilly.

Del Toro won an Oscar for his work in "Traffic." His other films include "The Usual Suspects," "Excess Baggage," "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," "Snatch" and "Che."
