'Transylvania' tops DVD sales chart; 'Flight' is No. 1 rental

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- The animated monster movie "Hotel Transylvania" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Tuesday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending Feb. 10 is "Flight," followed by "Peter Pan" at No. 3, "Alex Cross" at No. 4 and "Here Comes the Boom" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Tyler Perry's Madea Gets a Job" at No. 6, "Taken 2" at No. 7, "Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey Season 3" at No. 8, "Monster High: Friday Night Frights/Why Do Ghouls" at No. 9 and "Paranormal Activity 4" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Feb. 9 is "Flight."

"Hotel Transylvania" is No. 2, "Here Comes the Boom" is No. 3, "Seven Psychopaths" is No. 4, "The Bourne Legacy" is No. 5, "Ted" is No. 6, "Looper" is No. 7, "Alex Cross" is No. 8, "Pitch Perfect" is No. 9 and "Paranormal Activity 4" is No. 10.
