Theron, Radcliffe, Levitt and Tatum set for Oscar telecast

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 7 (UPI) -- Charlize Theron, Channing Tatum, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Daniel Radcliffe are to make special appearances at this month's Oscars ceremony in Los Angeles.

"We are quite excited to have Charlize, Chan, Joe and Dan join us on the show," telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement. "We are happy to feature them as special guests in our production."

This will be Gordon-Levitt, Radcliffe and Tatum's first time appearing on the Oscar show.

Theron won an Oscar for her performance in "Monster" and earned a nomination for her work in "North Country."

Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2012 will be presented Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center.

Seth MacFarlane is to serve as host of the event.
