'Breaking Dawn 2' leads with 11 Razzie Award nods

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- "Breaking Dawn Part 2," the final installment in Hollywood's "Twilight" film franchise, has been nominated for 11 Razzie Awards, organizers said.

Nominees for the 33rd annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which recognize the year's worst in cinema, were announced Wednesday, the day before prestigious Oscar nominations will be revealed.

The names of Razzie winners will be read on Oscar Eve, Feb. 23.

Up for the Worst Picture Razzie are "Battleship," "Oogieloves in Big Balloon Adventure," "That's My Boy," "A Thousand Words" and "Breaking Dawn Part 2."

Shortlisted for Worst Actress are Katherine Heigl for "One for the Money," Milla Jovovich for "Resident Evil 5: Retribution," Tyler Perry in drag for "Madea's Witness Protection," Kristen Stewart for "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Breaking Dawn Part 2," and Barbra Streisand for "The Guilt Trip."

In the running for Worst Actor are Nicolas Cage for "Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance" and "Seeking Justice," Eddie Murphy for "A Thousand Words," Robert Pattinson for "Breaking Dawn Part 2," Tyler Perry for "Alex Cross" and Tyler Perry's "Good Deeds," and Adam Sandler for "That's My Boy."

Nominated for Worst Supporting Actress are Jessica Biel for "Playing for Keeps" and "Total Recall," Brooklyn Decker for "Battleship" and "What to Expect When You're Expecting," Ashley Greene for "Breaking Dawn Part 2," Jennifer Lopez for "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and Rihanna for "Battleship."

Competing for the Worst Supporting Actor dishonor are David Hasselhoff as himself in "Piranha 3DD," Taylor Lautner in "Breaking Dawn Part 2," Liam Neeson in "Battleship" and "Wrath of the Titans," Nick Swardson in "That's My Boy" and Vanilla Ice as himself in "That's My Boy."

"Breaking Dawn Part 2" also earned two nods for Worst Screen couple for Mackenzie Foy and Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as well as nominations for Worst Director for Bill Condon, Worst Ensemble, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Rip-Off, Re-Make or Sequel.
