LONDON, April 21 (UPI) -- British actor Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter film series, said he wants to write a novel, The Daily Telegraph reported.
"I really want to write professionally in the future," the 22-year-old said. "I try and write at the moment. I don't know if I'm any good, as, normally, when I write I'm so self critical that it's not long before I have to throw away what I write."

Radcliffe said he has yet to inform J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, who is currently working on her first book for adults, "The Casual Vacancy."
"Perhaps, I should get in touch with her for some help," Radcliffe said.
