'Grey,' Neeson lead U.S. box office

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- "The Grey," starring Liam Neeson at his most rugged, led the weekend U.S. box office with $20 million in gross receipts.

"Underworld Awakening," with the yummy Kate Beckinsale, was second with $12.5 million.

All studio estimates of gross U.S. receipts are via Box Office Mojo.

"One For the Money" was third with $11.75 million; "Red Tails" fourth with $10.4 million; "Man on a Ledge" fifth with $8.3 million; "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" sixth with more than $7.14 million; "The Descendants" seventh with $6.55 million; "Contraband" eighth with $6.5 million; "Beauty and the Beast (3D)" ninth with more than $5.34 million.

"Haywire" rounded out the top 10 with $4 million.
