Producer Susan Downey pregnant

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Hollywood film producer Susan Downey is pregnant with her first child, a publicist for her husband, actor Robert Downey Jr., confirmed Wednesday.

The Downeys have been married for six years. Their first child is due to be born in early 2012.

Robert Downey Jr. also has a 17-year-old son from a previous marriage.

"Robert and Susan could not be more excited over this news," the "Iron Man" star's publicist told People.com. "They can't wait to welcome this new baby into their wonderful family."
