NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 14 (UPI) -- Organizers of the Newport Beach Film Festival claim comedian Andy Dick exposed himself and caused property damage at the California event last month.
Allegations fueling a possible lawsuit against Dick include that he pulled down his pants, rubbed against a table and then urinated on the backdrop of a display -- all apparently while heavily intoxicated, The Orange County Register reported Friday.
"Obviously, we need to recoup damages," co-founder of the event, Todd Quartararo, told the newspaper.
"It was a brand-new booth that needs to be replaced. We are exploring legal options to recoup damages," he said.
Quartararo said Dick caused a couple thousand dollars in damage and that people working for the star have scheduled talks to settle the matter.
