HOLLYWOOD, April 2 (UPI) -- Producer Stephen Scheffer says he is meeting with studios about a possible movie based on the autobiography of conservative talk-show host Glenn Beck.

The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday the movie version of "The Christmas Sweater" was in the turnaround phase, which means the rights sold to Sony in 2009 could wind up with another studio.

Sony had planned a direct-to-video production of Beck's book, but budget and script problems stalled the project. Scheffer said Beck's controversial political views were not an issue.
