LOS ANGELES, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- "True Grit" breakout star Hailee Steinfeld is still a normal 14-year-old girl who sometimes gets in trouble at home, she says.
"I get in trouble for texting too much and using the computer too late, all kinds of stuff like that," she told People magazine at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards, where she was named best young actress.
"I'm not getting used to it at all," she added. "This is so new to me. This is the beginning of it all and this is really exciting for me. I'm really honored to be a part of it."
Los Angeles resident Steinfeld plays teenager Mattie Ross, who is searching for her father's killer in the Coen brothers western.
"Honestly, the biggest difference is that I'm a lot busier than I was," she said. "And I think that I haven't changed as a person. ... I have amazing parents who have kept me grounded, and my brother and my whole family and everybody has been so supportive."
