The Selznick Achievement Award recognizes a producer's outstanding body of work in motion pictures.

"Scott Rudin's body of work speaks for itself. He has impressively set a high bar for film-making and the guild is proud to honor him with the Selznick Award this year," PGA Co-Presidents Hawk Koch and Mark Gordon said in a statement Monday.

"This is an extraordinary honor, and I'm thrilled to join the company of the distinguished filmmakers who have previously received this award," Rudin said. "I'm very grateful to the Producers Guild and pleased to accept this on behalf of the tremendous array of artists who have made such enormous contributions to the films we've made together."

Rudin's film credits include "The Social Network," "Julie & Julia," "Doubt," "No Country for Old Men" and "The Queen."
