Halle Berry won't play Oprah if asked

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Halle Berry says that if anyone ever makes a movie about Oprah Winfrey, it probably won't include her in the starring role.

Berry taped an episode on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" this week in which the question of a biopic about Oprah came up, and she assured the audience she wasn't aiming for the title role, The Hollywood Reporter said Saturday.

"I'm not going to play Oprah," Berry said, adding, "I don't know where these rumors come from."

Berry said she was not aware of any films about Oprah in the works.

Berry's appearance on "Ellen" airs Monday.
