Paris Hilton may be on hook for $160K

MIAMI, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- A federal judge in Florida ruled Paris Hilton broke her contract by not doing interviews with British and Russian media for her 2006 flop "Pledge This!"

U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno ruled Thursday that Hilton, the 29-year-old socialite and reality TV star, cost the movie about $160,000 by skipping the European promotional tour, People magazine reported Friday.

Worldwide Entertainment Group, the company that invested in the movie, sought $1 million in their breach-of-contract lawsuit against Hilton.

Hilton faces drug charges in Los Vegas after police found cocaine in her purse in a traffic stop.
