LOS ANGELES, June 9 (UPI) -- A bail bondsman posted $200,000 on Lindsay Lohan's behalf after the actress allegedly violated the terms of her probation, the Los Angeles Times said.
Lohan is on probation for a 2007 driving under the influence conviction. A warrant was issued for her arrest last month after she failed to attend a court hearing because she was at the Cannes film festival in France and couldn't find her passport. The judge overseeing the case allowed her to post bail and rescinded the warrant. The judge then ordered Lohan to wear an alcohol-detection device, stating she believed the actresses problems were deeply rooted in her substance abuse.
