Hershey and Andrews announce split

LOS ANGELES, May 30 (UPI) -- Hollywood couple Barbara Hershey and Naveen Andrews have announced they are no longer together.

Hershey, 62, and Andrews, 41, met on the set of "Drowning on Dry Land" in 1999 and had been together ever since, except for a brief split in 2005, People magazine reported.

However, the manager for "Lost" star Andrews told People the couple quietly ended their relationship six months ago and "remain best of friends."

While Andrews is best known for his role the ABC's hit series that recently ended its run, Hershey is best known for her roles on the big screen in films such as "Hannah and her Sisters" and "Beaches."
