LOS ANGELES, May 24 (UPI) -- A Los Angeles judge Monday ordered actress Lindsay Lohan to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, court officials said.

Lohan, 23, was also ordered to submit to random drug testing once a week and to attend the remainder of her alcohol-education classes at a rate of one per week, UsMagazine.com reported.

The hearing was intended to see if the "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday" star had been adhering to the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under the influence conviction.

She was due in court last week, but her lawyer said she couldn't make it because she was at France's Cannes Festival and lost her passport. A bench warrant was briefly issued, then rescinded after she posted bail, while the court date was rescheduled.

UsMagazine.com did not say how long Lohan will have to wear the alcohol-monitoring bracelet.
