'Squeakquel' is top-selling DVD in U.S.

LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak said Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD sales chart for the week ending April 11 is "Sherlock Holmes," followed by "The Blind Side" at No. 3, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" at No. 4 and "Alice in Wonderland (Special Un-Anniversary Edition)" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Princess and the Frog" at. No. 6, "The Collector" at No. 7, "Brothers" at No. 8, "2012" at No. 9 and "Ninja Assassin" at No. 10.

"Sherlock Holmes" is the No. 1 DVD rental in the United States for the week ending April 10, Rentrak said.

"The Men Who Stare at Goats" is No. 2, "The Blind Side" No. 3, "2012" No. 4, "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" No. 5, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" No. 6, "Up in the Air" No. 7, "Brothers" No. 8.

"Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" No. 9 and "Couples Retreat" No. 10.
