'Basterds' wins SAG award for ensemble

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 23 (UPI) -- The cast of Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" won the Screen Actors Guild Award for best ensemble in a film in Los Angeles Saturday night.

Sandra Bullock won the SAG award for lead actress in a film for her work in "The Blind Side."

"If this were only not televised so I could use the appropriate words I'm feeling right now," she quipped upon accepting her prize. "I am Sandra Bullock and I am an actor, and I am so proud to say that in a room full of faces that have inspired me."

Jeff Bridges picked up the prize for lead actor for his performance in "Crazy Heart."

"Thank you; thank you so much. This means so much to me. My God, this is a heavy thing," Bridges said, referring to the SAG statuette.

Christoph Waltz earned the title of best supporting actor in a film for his work in "Inglourious Basterds," while Mo'Nique won the supporting actress accolade for her performance in "Precious."
