LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- "Avatar" remained No. 1 at the U.S. box office, raking in an incredible $41.3 million in its fifth straight weekend.
"The Book of Eli" was a respectable No. 2 with more than $31.61 million.

"The Lovely Bones" was third with $17.06 million; "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" fourth with $11.5 million; "Sherlock Holmes" fifth with more than $9.82 million; "The Spy Next Door" sixth with $9.7 million.
"It's Complicated" was seventh with more than $7.67 million; "Leap Year" eighth with more than $5.82 million; "The Blind Side" ninth with more than $5.56 million.
"Up in the Air" rounded out the top 10 with $5.46 million.
