NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Sirius Radio host Diana Falzone has been granted a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, actor Anthony Michael Hall, the New York Post said.
Sources told the newspaper Falzone filed a police complaint against Hall after the star of "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Sixteen Candles," "Weird Science" and "The Breakfast Club" allegedly attempted to kick in the front door of her New York apartment last week, then smacked her head into a wall.
Hall, 41, reportedly suffers from bipolar disorder.
He was ordered to "refrain from assault, stalking, harassment ... menacing, reckless endangerment ... (or) intimidation" of Falzone, the Post reported.
Hall is to appear at a court hearing next week regarding the matter.
The actor's spokesman told the newspaper he was not aware of the temporary restraining order. "All of the allegations are erroneous and will be addressed accordingly," he said.
