LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Johnny Depp were among the People's Choice Award nominees announced in Los Angeles Tuesday.
They will compete for the favorite movie actor prize against Ryan Reynolds and Robert Pattinson.

Nominated for the favorite movie actress award are Anne Hathaway, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Stewart and Sandra Bullock.
Shortlisted for the favorite action star title are Christian Bale, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman, Shia LaBeouf and Vin Diesel.
The nominees for favorite comedic star are Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Jim Carrey, Ryan Reynolds and Vince Vaughn.
Up for the award for favorite breakout movie actress are Anna Kendrick, Emily Osment, Ginnifer Goodwin, Miley Cyrus and Zoe Saldana.
Nominated for favorite breakout movie actor are Chris Pine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sam Worthington, Taylor Lautner and Zachary Quinto.
Vying for the honor of being declared favorite on-screen team are "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson; "The Proposal" stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds; "The Twilight Saga" stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner; "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" stars Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox; and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" stars Hugh Jackman, Liev Shreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Will.i.am, Dominic Monaghan and Daniel Henney.
The nominees for favorite family movie are "Hannah Montana: The Movie," "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs," "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," "Up" and "Where the Wild Things Are."
Up for the top film prize of favorite movie are "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "Star Trek," "The Hangover," "The Proposal" and "Twilight."
The 2010 People's Choice Awards are to be handed out at a ceremony on Jan. 6 at the Nokia Theater, L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Queen Latifah is to serve as host of the event.
