Drew Brees debunks rumors he broke both legs in car crash

Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints quarterback, took to Twitter Sunday to debunk rumors he broke both legs and was paralyzed after a car accident.

Rumors began circulating Sunday morning that the Superbowl-winning quarterback was involved in a car accident in New Orleans.

Some reports even cited a fake police report saying he had non-life-threatening injuries after a crash with an Audi.

Similar rumors circulated Sunday about other NFL players, including Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and quarterback Matt Ryan.

Jones also took to Twitter to dispell the rumors.
