Kid Rock predicts Justin Bieber will be around for a long time.

Or at least, a very long, slow decline.

Chatting with Howard Stern, the rocker compared Bieber to erstwhile rapper Vanilla Ice, whose brief musical success was followed by a public fall from grace.

"Tell me if this is wrong, Justin Bieber is 100 percent like Vanilla Ice all over again," he said. "It's exactly the same."

When Stern compared Bieber favorably to Ice, who was hit wonder, Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, took the opportunity to ding Bieber again.

"As soon as Bieber has a hit, he'll be like Vanilla Ice, then," Ritchie said.

But Ritchie was talking more about Bieber's recent run ins with the law and personal problems.

"The kid’s young, he’s got some money, he’s got the world in his hands, it’s just kind of sad to see him go down this trajectory,” said Ritchie. “It’s going to be a very long ride down. We all know the story. I kind of feel for the kid, to be honest with you.”

Ritchie's comments come on the same day he was officially passed as the most-viewed artist on YouTube, as Rihanna's channel hit 3.784 billion views, by about 2 million views.
