Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Kate Upton: "Just Good Friends"

Amid reports that Kate Upton, the world's "hottest supermodel," was dating "Dancing With the Stars" veteran Maksim Chmerkovskiy, multiple sources have come forward to deny the rumors.

Rumors about Upton and Chmerkovskiy dating came about when the two were spotted having a "cozy" dinner at Scalinatella in New York City. However, sources at the restaurant have confirmed that the dinner did "not look intimate at all."

Sources close to Chmerkovskiy told E! they've "heard nothing about them dating," while another source said the two "are just good friends."

Upton has remained relatively private about her life since rising to international fame. Last February, however, she publicly denied rumors that she was dating Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.
