Feb. 23 (UPI) -- The entire cast of Shogun won statuettes for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series, while Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai were also honored individually, at the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Sanada and Sawai won Best Actor and Actress in a Drama Series.
Jean Smart earned the title of Best Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks and Martin Short was named Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Only Murders in the Building, which also scored the award for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Neither Smart nor Short were in attendance.
Jessica Gunning won the prize for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Limited Series for Baby Reindeer and Colin Farrell was voted Best Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series for The Penguin.
On the movie side, Conclave won for Best Ensemble in a Film, Timothee Chalamet picked up the Best Actor in a Film trophy for A Complete Unknown and Demi Moore won the Best Actress in a Film prize for The Substance.
Kieran Culkin was named Best Supporting Actor in a Film for A Real Pain and Zoe Saldana earned the accolade for Best Supporting Actress in a Film for Emilia Perez.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus also presented Jane Fonda with the SAG Life Achievement Award.
Kristen Bell hosted the gala, which honored excellence in film and television acting. It streamed live on Netflix.
Bell kicked off the event with a salute to the firefighters who battled the recent wildfire blazes throughout California. She followed with a parody song called "Do You Want to be an Actor?" sung to the tune of her Frozen anthem "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?"
As Bell performed, footage of SAG nominees in their early careers played in the background while the actors cringed and laughed in the audience.
Movie musical Wicked and TV series Shogun led the field with five SAG nominations apiece going into this weekend's competition.
