May 19 (UPI) -- Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester had a mini Gossip Girl reunion.
The 35-year-old actor and 36-year-old actress reunited for the debut episode of Badgley's podcast, Podcrushed, which aired Wednesday.
Badgley shared a photo with Meester on Instagram Stories. The picture shows the pair smiling as Badgley puts an arm around Meester's shoulders.
"Best pic we took (No lie)," he captioned the post.
Badgley and Meester played Dan Humphrey and Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, which had a six-season run on The CW from 2007 to 2012. On the podcast, the pair recalled how they first met while appearing in the "real B-grade" horror film Drive-Thru.
"It's so funny. I don't know if I've ever seen it. I would like to," Meester said of the movie.
"I don't think I have either. I've seen clips," Badgley added.
Badgley said he has "the vaguest memory" of meeting Meester at a party before the film started shooting.
"I'm pretty sure we met on that movie but I'd ended up at a Halloween party or something at your house. I remember waiting in line for the bathroom and you turned around and I hadn't seen you before," he said.
Badgley said he tried to introduce himself to Meester but doesn't remember details about the conversation, while Meester said she doesn't remember anything about the encounter.
Badgley now plays Joe Goldberg on the Netflix series You. Meester most recently starred in the Netflix film The Weekend Away.
