Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Addison Rae is sharing celebrity pal Kourtney Kardashian's best advice about fame.
The 20-year-old actress and TikTok star discussed her friendship with Kardashian, 42, during Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Rae said she first met Kardashian because Kardashian's son Mason, 11, was a fan of hers on TikTok. Rae and Kardashian then started to work out together regularly.
"Mason wanted to meet me, and then we ended up meeting and then starting to work out together because we both liked to work out," Rae said of Kardashian.
"Her trainer is so hard ... we started working out all the time together and then we became close," she added.
Rae said she doesn't think Kardashian and her ex-partner Scott Disick are meant to be together. She also named Kylie Jenner as the Kardashian-Jenner sister that she is closest with after Kardashian.
Rae was then asked to share the best advice about fame that she's gotten from Kardashian.
"I think just staying around people you love and making sure you surround yourself with good friends and people that will not let you shy away from who you are," she said.
Kardashian makes her film debut in Rae's new movie He's All That, a gender-swapped remake of the 1999 film She's All That. Rae rated Kardashian's acting skills as a "10" out of 10 on WWHL.
In addition, Rae teased the possibility of her starring on her own reality show, saying, "Who knows what could come in the future? I think there's a lot of interesting things that people don't get to see about my life and my family too."
