The new episode will see BTS speak with Coldplay singer Chris Martin. BTS will discuss the meaning and inspiration behind its "Permission to Dance" challenge on YouTube Shorts.

The #PermissionToDance challenge asks fans to make 15-second YouTube Shorts videos featuring the International Sign gestures for "Joy," "Dance" and "Peace," which BTS used in its "Permission to Dance" music video. The challenge started July 23.

The Released episode will highlight shorts from the dance challenge submitted by fans from around the world.

The special episode will air Sept. 9 at 11:45 p.m. EDT on BTS' YouTube channel. The episode will be followed by the world premiere of the group's "Permission to Dance (Shorts Challenge ver.)" music video.

BTS released "Permission to Dance" in July. The group appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon this week, where the members looked back on their favorite moments on the show.
