June 22 (UPI) -- Pete Davidson discussed his future on Saturday Night Live while appearing on Gold Derby, stating that he isn't sure if he will be back for Season 47 of the sketch comedy series.

"Right now it's still, it's all up in the air. I got to talk to Lorne. It's a big cast, there's a lot of new guys in there and there's a lot of great new talent that it's their time to shine," Davidson told Gold Derby on Monday while mentioning SNL head Lorne Michaels.

"I have no idea what's going on right now. But I do know that whatever it is, I'll always work with Broadway Video and Lorne and a bunch of those guys because we're a family. We're like the Fast and the Furious, it's all about family," he continued.

Davidson appeared on the Season 46 finale of SNL and discussed during the Weekend Update segment how he grew up on the series.

The comedian is also in talks to star alongside Kaley Cuoco in a romantic comedy film titled Meet Cute.
